Published by at 12:14 pm under web design tools

These days if you are just starting out as an internet marketer or graphic designer you will notice that some of the professional software programs for web/graphic design tend to be a little pricey.  CS4 which includes dreamweaver, photoshop, in-design, and much more cost just over $2000.

This a great list to get anyone started in web design. There are plenty of applications here for those who have some knowledge but would like to improve in a few ways and understand more about how the internet works and how to have a successful online business. These will work to do some serious experimenting.

  28. Josh@Affordable Web Designon 28 Feb 2010 at 9:02 pm

Awesome list of resources. There’s a bunch of software on here that I haven’t heard of yet. I still prefer Photoshop though as my main graphics editing program, just because of all the features that it offers. I heard that there is a similar program to Photoshop that’s available online but I haven’t had the time to check it out yet. Thanks for the list.

  29. Jeremiah @ Used Refurbished Laptopson 17 Mar 2010 at 4:07 pm

Thanks for compiling such a great list. I use some already, but you’ve got some there that look interesting.

I’m a big fan of OpenOffice.org with it’s export to PDF function, it is so easy to create PDF reports and e-books.

With the downturn in the economy there must be a greater up-take for individuals to start using more open source software’s.

This is a great list. My 13 year-old son was wanting to learn how to design webpages. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on software until I knew how serious he was about it. This will help out tremendously. Thanks so much.
